BYZANTINE EMPIRE. Anastatius I. 491-518 AD. Æ Follis (20.16 gm; 35 mm). Constantinople mint. Struck circa 512-517 AD. DN ANASTASIVS P P AVG, diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Large M; cross above, stars flanking; B/CON. DOC I 23i; MIB I 27; SB 19. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Minor marks on the field. Brown-reddish and green patina. Choice Good VF.
