SELEUKID KINGDOM. Seleukos I Nikator (312-281 BC). AR Hemidrachm (1.92 gm; 13 mm). Seleukeia on the Tigris II. Obv: Laureate head of Zeus right. Rev: BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ΣEΛEYKOY. Athena, holding spear and shield, driving biga of elephants right. Controls: Monogram to upper left and above elephants, anchor to upper right. SC 133; Sear 6840. Well struck on a nice flan. Small die break (Not a scratch) on obverse field in high relief. Choice EF. Tond. Rare.
