ROMAN EMPIRE. Maximianus. 286-305 AD. First Reign. AR Argentius (3.28 gm; 19 mm). Ticinum mint. Struck circa 294 AD. Laureate head right / VIRTVS MILITVM, tetrarchs sacrificing over tripod before city enclosure with six turrets. RIC VI 14b; RSC 622d. Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice Superb with some luster.
