Yazdgird's bust turning right with standard crown, symbol of Cypress tree (Sarv) in front of face, reverse; standard, fire altar with attendants. Cypress tree holds a special place in the Sasanian culture as well as Zoroastrian culture. The sacred sites such as Abarkooh (Arabized Abarghoo) in Iran has a celebrated Cypress tree considered to be the birth place of Zoroaster. Choice VF. Original find patina. Extremely Rare.
