SASANIAN KINGS. Kavad I. 2nd reign (498-531 AD). Æ Pashiz (1.36 gm; 18 mm). NYH Nihavand mint. Standard obverse of Kavad, turning right within two rings, reverse: fire altar and attendants, mint abbreviation to the right “NYH” Nihavand, date not visible due to corrosion. Nice original green and earthen patina. Choice VF. Rare.
