Byzantine Lead Seal (11th Century) Michael Proedros Krites
Obv: Bust of Mary, orans, hands in prayer, Jesus in medallion on chest. Mary wears mapharion and chiton. Pearl border. blachernitissa MP on the left, OV on the right. Circumference: Prayer that begins with a cross.
Back: 6 (six) lines of text starting with a cross, declaring name, title and duty. Pearl border.
