ASIA MINOR. Galatians? Imitations of Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon (3rd-2nd centuries BC). Drachm.
Obv: Stylized head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝ.
Stylized Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: To left, monogram above grape bunch.
Cf. Nomos E-4, lot 42.
Condition: Good very fine.
Weight: 4.18 g.
Diameter: 16 mm.
