Heraclius, with Heraclius Constantine (610-641 AD). Constantinople, with countermarks applied later at an uncertain mint,
AE 40 Nummi (40mm 3.26g)
Obv: Crowned Heraclius on left in military dress and holding long cross, and crowned Heraclius Constantine on right wearing chlamys and holding globus cruciger, standing facing; cross between their heads
Rev: Large M; monogram above, ANNO to left, XX to right, A below, CON in exergue; c/m's: two monograms within circular incuse punches applied on the outer edges of the flan.
