OCTAVIAN. Denarius (30-29 BC). Uncertain mint in Italy, possibly Rome.

Obv: Laureate head of Apollo of Actium right, with features of Octavian.
Rev: IMP CAESAR.
Octavian, as city founder and holding whip and plow handle, plowing with yoke of oxen right.

RIC² 272; CRI 424.

Condition: Near extremely fine, minor edge fault.

Weight: 4.04 g.
