CILICIA. Tarsos. Balakros (Satrap of Cilicia, 333-323 BC). Stater.
Obv: Baaltars seated left on throne, holding lotus-tipped sceptre; grain ear and grape bunch to left; below throne, T below strut; ivy leaf to right.
Rev: Draped bust of Athena facing slightly left, wearing triple-crested helmet; grape bunch to left, T to right.
SNG BN 370; Roma E-52, lot 340.
Condition: Very fine, test cut.
Weight: 10.88 g.
Diameter: 24 mm.
