SELEUKID KINGDOM. Antiochos III 'the Great' (222-187 BC). Tetradrachm. Seleukeia on the Tigris.
Obv: Diademed head right.
Rev: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ.
Apollo seated left on omphalos, testing arrow and resting hand upon bow. Controls: To outer left, monogram above Y; monogram to outer right; Ω in exergue.
SC 1161.4 var. (controls); HGC 9, 447mm.
Condition: Near very fine.
Weight: 16.10 g.
Diameter: 30 mm.
