LYDIA. Apollonis. Eumenes III (Aristonikos) (Pretender to the throne of Pergamon, 132-130/29 BC). Cistophor. Dated year 4 (of his revolt = 131/0 BC).

Obv: Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath.
Rev: ΑΠΟΛ.
Bowcase between two serpents; BA to inner left, EY to inner right, Δ (date) in middle.

Kleiner & Noe Series 3, 2-4; Pinder 137; Numismatik Naumann 50, lot 242 (which realized a hammer of €650).
