ISLAMIC. Beyliks of Western Asia Minor. Debased GOLD Ducat (After AD 1348). Late 'K' Series. Imitating a Venetian Ducat of Andrea Dandolo (1344-1354).

Obv: AZDR DANDVLO S H VENETIA.
St. Mark standing right, presenting staff with banner to Doge kneeling left.
Rev: SITTXI GRATOTV KSIS ISIG DVCAT.
Christ the Redeemer standing facing within mandorla of ten stars.

Gamberini 344 (under Robert d'Anjou); CNI VII 37 (Venetians in the Levant).

Condition: Near mint state.

Weight: 3.39 g.
Diameter: 22 mm.
