KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Korinth.
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: In left field, Nike advancing right, holding wreath and palm frond; below throne, monogram above strut.
Price 675.
Condition: Very fine, some restoration near the ear.
Weight: 16.98 g.
Diameter: 27 mm.
