KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Amphipolis.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: In left field, Λ above torch; below throne, Δ above strut.

Price 458.

Condition: Very fine, some crystallization and chipping.

Weight: 16.97 g.
Diameter: 28 mm.
