KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Sardeis.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟY.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: F (digamma) in left field, A below throne, amphora to outer right.

Price 2653; HGC 3.1, 940f (Alexander IV).

Condition: Very fine.
