KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II (359-336 BC). 1/5 Tetradrachm. Amphipolis. Contemporary imitation(?).

Obv: Head of Apollo right, wearing tainia.
Rev: ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ.
Youth on horse rearing right. Control: Tripod below horse.

Cf. Le Rider pl. 48, 13; HGC 3.1, 989 (Kassander).

Condition: Near very fine.

Weight: 2.37 g.
Diameter: 14 mm.
