SELEUKID KINGDOM. Seleukos I Nikator (312-281 BC). Tetradrachm. Babylon I. In the name and types Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon. Imitative issue.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin.
Rev: BAΣIΛEΩΣ AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: monogram within wreath in left field, IM below throne.

Condition: Near very fine.
