AUGUSTUS (27 BC-14 AD). Fourreé Denarius. Uncertain Italian mint, possibly Rome.

Obv: AVGVSTVS TR POT.
Bare head right.
Rev: Octavian's Actian arch (Arcus Octaviani) surmounted by Octavian in facing triumphal quadriga; IMP CAESAR across architrave.

Cf. RIC² 267 (for prototype; no legend on obverse).

Condition: Near very fine.

Weight: 3.00 g.
Diameter: 18 mm.
