PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy I Soter (As satrap, 323-305 BC). Tetradrachm. Arados. Struck in the name and types of Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon.
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Control: Monogram in left field.
Price 3426 (Byblos).
Condition: Very fine.
Weight: 17.02 g.
