KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Drachm. Abydos.
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: monogram in right field, ivy leaf(?) below throne.

Condition: Good very fine.
Weight: 4.37 g.
Diameter: 18 mm.
