Islamic, pseudo-Byzantine type of fals (Bronze, 4.75 g, 20.3 mm), Arab-Byzantine, uncertain mint, ca. 2nd half of 7th cent. (?), derived obv. from a Constans II (641-668) follis, derived rev. from a Heraclius (610-641) 'Cyprus follis'.
Obv: Draped and bearded bust of Constans facing, holding globus cruciger in his right hand.
Rev: Three imperial figures standing facing, each wearing crown surmounted by cross.
