Description

Kings of Thrace, Lysimachos (305-281 BC), drachm (Silver, 4.12 g, 17.8 mm), struck ca. 301/0-300/299 BC, in the name and types of Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC), Kolophon.
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion headdress.
Rev: ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus Aetophoros seated left, holding eagle on the right hand and scepter in the left hand, lion forepart to outer left, pentagram below throne.
