Kings of Macedon, Alexander III ‘the Great’ (336-323 BC) AR Tetradrachm (Silver, 26mm, 16.85g) Babylon I, struck under Seleukos I, 300-294/3.
Obv: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress.
Rev: BAΣIΛEΩΣ - AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, crested Corinthian helmet to left above monogram of ΠA; below throne, AI
