Description

Kings of Macedon, Antigonos I Monophthalmos, drachm (Silver, 17.7 mm, 3.60 g), Lampsakos, circa 310-301 BC, struck as Strategos or king of Asia, in the name and types of Alexander III.
Obv: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟ[Υ], Zeus Aëtophoros seated to left, holding sceptre, KI in left field, M below throne.
