Died: Had died by the time the dispute over the metochion of Melissourgeion, whose exchange deed he had signed, was brought before Leon 119.
Hegoumenos, hegumen or igumen (ἡγούμενος) "one who is responsible for", "leader" - prior, is the title of the superior of a monastery in Eastern Orthodox and Catholic churches, similar to the title of abbot. The superior of the nunnery was called hegumenia or ihumenia (ἡγουμένη).
