Anonymous Follis, Romanus III (1028-1034) AE Follis (Bronze, 9.93g, 31mm) Constantinople.
Obv: [+ EMMA-N[OVHΛ] / IC-XC, Bust of Christ facing, holding book of Gospels and wearing nimbus cruciger; sqaare in each arm of cross; four pellets around one pellet in centre on book of Gospels.
Rev: IS-XC bAS-ILE bAS-ILE, Legend in three lines divided by cross set on three steps.
