Description
BYZANTINE EMPIRE. An impressive square shaped 6 Unciae commercial weight (5h- 7th century AD). Bronze.
The top bears the silver-filled, engraved letters N-Z = 6 unciae; above and below either two crosses with pellets in the angles and one annulet with dot in centre.
Condition: Very fine.
Weight: 178g.
Diameter: 48x49mm.
