Description

PHOENICIA. Sidon. Stater (Circa 409/406-402 BC).

Obv: Persian king or hero standing right, preparing to thrust dagger into the belly of a lion standing to left on hind legs.
Rev. Cow standing left on dotted ground line, suckling her calf who stands right below; all in dotted square within shallow incuse square.

Condition: Test cut on reverse, otherwise Near very fine - Good fine
