Profile to the right, without laurel wreath, slightly moon-shaped. The hair is made up of crescent locks interlaced in several rows. Although the caption does not appear, we can see the typical portrait of the type KABAΛΛOS, Dt. 2536 (= Latour 5957). The facial traits are characteristic, and it is rare for it to be so complete, as despite the nose and chin not having been completely struck due to a striking weakness on the flan, the ‘S’ and ‘V’ locks can be seen above the crescent locks, which is rarely seen on these coins as they are often out of flan. It is therefore unfortunate that the design on the reverse was struck partially out-of-field, as the caption is out-of-field, while the charioteer is not fully visible due to the striking weakness mentioned above. Profil non lauré à droite, légèrement luniforme. La chevelure est faite de mèches en croissants imbriqués les uns dans les autres, sur plusieurs rangées. Sous l'oreille, trois perles en triangle., Bige à droite, les chevaux sont bien distincts et surmontés de l'aurige tenant les rênes d'une main, et un bâton de l'autre. Dessous, une lyre à trois cordes renversée [dont les extrémités sont bouletées. Ligne de terre sous laquelle se trouve la légende], Exemplaire dans un excellent état de conservation ! Bien que la légende n'apparaisse pas, on retrouve le portrait typique du type KABAΛΛOS, Dt. 2536 (= Latour 5957). Les traits sont caractéristiques, et il est rare qu'il soit aussi complet, car malgré le nez et le menton qui n'ont pas été complètement imprimé à cause d'une faiblesse de frappe du flan, on voit les mèches en "S" et en "V" au-dessus des mèches en croissant, ce qui est rarement observable sur ces monnaies car souvent hors-champ. On regrette donc le décalage dans la frappe du motif au revers, puisque la légende se retrouve également hors-champ, tandis que l'aurige n'apparait pas complètement à cause de la faiblesse de frappe évoquée. La monnaie reste cependant une rareté, peu d'exemplaires sont trouvables dans les ventes pour ce type, et notre exemplaire est parmi les plus beaux et les mieux conservés., [ΚΑΒΑΛΛΟS CONTIIΘIL]
