Crowned bust of Ferdinand I wearing armor and carrying a sword, holding a scepter resting on his shoulder in his right hand and holding an imperial orb with the denomination on it in his left hand., City shield within a triple leafy polylobe, date above., Formerly mounted coin with a few marks and knocks, notably on the obverse on the sovereign's head, on the legend at 8:30 and 10 o'clock and on the edge. Ferdinand I's armor is well detailed, with the patterns on his cuirass visible, and the elements that make up the pommel of the sword and the protections on his arm also well detailed. The reverse is in fine condition, with many visible details and a clear legend. The flan is slightly trimmed at 3:30. Our example was struck posthumously in 1571, since Ferdinand I died in 1564. Coins bearing his effigy continued to be minted until 1572. He was a member of the Habsburg family, the brother of Charles V and former Archduke of Austria, King of the Romans, Hungary and Bohemia, and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. Buste couronné de Ferdinand Ier portant une armure et une épée, tenant un sceptre reposant sur son épaule dans sa main droite et tenant un orbe impérial avec la dénomination dessus dans sa main gauche., Écu de la ville dans un triple polylobe feuillu, date au-dessus., Monnaie anciennement montée présentant quelques marques et coups, notamment au droit sur la tête du souverain, sur la légende à 8h30 et 10h et sur la tranche. L'armure de Ferdinand Ier est bien détaillée, les motifs de sa cuirasse sont visibles, les éléments qui composent le pommeau de l'épée et les protections de son bras sont également bien détaillés. Le revers est dans un bel état de conservation avec de nombreux détails visibles et une légende claire. Le flan est légèrement rogné à 3h30. Notre exemplaire a été frappé en 1571 de manière posthume puisque Ferdinand Ier est décédé en 1564. Les monnaies à son effigie continue d'être frappées jusqu'en 1572. Ferdinand Ier est membre de la famille des Habsbourg, il est le frère de Charles Quint et a notamment été archiduc d'Autriche, roi des Romains, de Hongrie et de Bohême et empereur du Saint-Empire romain germanique.
