Draped, cuirassed and laureate bust of the young Louis XV on the right., Crowned shield of France., This seems to be an unpublished specimen, absent from both the Gadoury and the Clairand for the Amiens mint in 1723! It is all the more interesting to note that this coin is reformed, whereas the other divisionals (ecu, 1/3 ecu and 1/12 ecu) are all struck on a new flan.

Buste lauré drapé et cuirassé du jeune Louis XV à droite., Écu de France couronné., Exemplaire qui semble inédit, absent du Gadoury comme du Clairand pour l'atelier d'Amiens en 1723 ! Il est d'autant plus intéressant de noter qu'il s'agit d'une réformation, alors que les autres divisionnaires (écu, 1/3 écu et 1/12 écu) sont tous frappés sur flan neuf.
