Bust of Louis XIV on the right, cuirassed, wearing a large wig., Value written in three lines, below the mint letter N between three lis posed 2 and 1., Extremely rare specimen of the liard of France "hybrid" type, struck on the obverse with a die of the 1/12 écu with palms, thus undated (yet estimated between 1693-1698). It is the copy illustrated in the C2G (page 318). The strike is well centered with almost complete beading, the coin is covered with a nice dark patina. Buste de Louis XIV à droite, cuirassé, portant une grande perruque., Valeur inscrite en trois lignes, dessous la lettre d'atelier N entre trois lis posés 2 et 1., Exemplaire extrêmement rare du liard de France au type "hybride", frappé au droit avec un carré du 1/12 d'écu aux palmes, donc non daté (estimé entre 1693-1698). Il s'agit de l'exemplaire illustré dans le C2G (page 318). La frappe est bien centrée avec le grènetis presque complet, la monnaie est recouverte d'une belle patine foncée.
