Diademed head of Bonus Eventus to right., Garlanded Puteal Scribonianum (Scribonian wellhead), decorated with two lyres; hammer at base., L. Scribonius Libo. Beginning of iridescent toning in the obverse legend. From an American collection of Roman Republican and Imperatorial coins. A very interesting design, representing a monument financed by an ancestor of Scribonius Libo, probably during the 3rd century BC, perhaps in 194 BC or 149 BC. Tête diadémée de Bonus Eventus à droite., Puteal Scribonianum (monument en forme de puit situé sur le Forum) enguirlandé, décoré de deux lyres ; marteau à la base., L. Scribonius Libo. Début de patine iridescente dans la légende d'avers. Issu d'une collection américaine de monnaies romaines républicaines et impériales. Décor très intéressant, représentant un monument financé par un ancêtre de Scribonius Libo, sans doute au cours du IIIème siècle av. J.C, peut-être en 194 av. J.C ou en 149 av. J.C. Il est mis à l'honneur sur cette frappe monétaire en ayant été rénové cette année là par le monétaire., LIBO BON·EVENT, PVTEAL // SCRIBON
