Lithuania Commemorative Medal for the 50th Anniversary of Lithuanian Independence from (1918-1968); from The Franklin Mint (?) The obverse has the three Lithuanian Presidents from between the two world wars. They are from the left to the right: A. Smetona (1874-1944); A. Stulginskis (1885) & K. Grinius (1866-1950) The reverse has a Vytis (charging knight) in the center with '50TH ANNIVERSARY OF DECLARATION OF' at the upper half and 'LITHUANIA ~ KINGDOM 1251-1795 ~ RESTORATION' at the bottom half. The edge is lettered with: 'LITHUANIAN FOUNDATION U.S.A. 2 16 68' and it is numbered '0844'. The medal comes with its octogon plastic holder. There is no indication of the purity of the silver content on the medal. The medal does weigh 26.94 grams; 39 mm. Silver. VERY RARE
