Lithuania - Germany Badge 1898 Lauksargiai (German Laugszargen) is a village in the Tauragė district of Lithuania. The place is the center of the administrative district (Seniūnija) Lauksargiai and belongs to the Rajongemeinde Tauragė. Lauksargiai is located in the southwest of Lithuania; in the former Memelland; about eight kilometers southwest of the municipality of Tauragė. In 1874 the place (apparently) became the seat of an administrative district in the (rural) district of Tilsit. In 1920 it was incorporated into the Pogegen district (lit. Pagėgių apskritis).
