A Medieval Silver Gilt Ring with Clasped Hands
Circa 15th century AD.
Ring with the bezel formed of two clasped hands. The hands joined symbolise the love and faith between two people. Fede (the Italian word for 'faith') rings were popular from the 12th century onward. Harshly cleaned with some scratches on the hoop especially; some deposits.
