A Pair of Large Slavic/Byzantine Silver Temple Rings
Circa 10th-14th century AD.
The double-conical body hollow formed and mounted on a large hoop; decorated with granulation work and twisted wire. Somewhat damaged and repaired.
Diameter 54 mm, and 62 mm Ex European private collection, acquired on the German art market before 2000.
