A Roman Bronze Bust Applique of the Moon God Mên
Circa 2nd-3rd century AD.
Small bust of the draped moon god wearing a long Phrygian cap with its ends falling onto the shoulders. Behind, the pointed ends of the crescent moon are visible.
H 37 mm Ex European private collection, acquired on the German art market before 2000.
