Four Fragments of a Roman Bronze Military Diploma
Issued AD 113.
The present four fragments (and a very small, illegible fragment) are further evidence for a constitution issued by Trajan in AD 113 for the troops in Pannonia Superior. The diploma was issued under the provincial governor Lucius Minicius Natalis to an unknown auxiliary soldier following twenty-five years of service, awarding to him Roman citizenship.
