A MEDIEVAL SILVER STRAP-END WITH MYTHICAL CREATURES
Circa 9th-11th century AD.
Openwork interlaced strap end with two intertwined winged beasts. At the top, two copper or bronze rivets and remains of a washer at the back for attachment to the belt.
