A HIGHLY ELABORATE SILVER GILT BYZANTINE/SLAVIC TEMPLE RING
Circa 10th-12th century AD.
Hollow formed earring with twisted hook. The body decorated with filigree and granulation work. Body damaged on one side.
H 45 mm Ex European private collection, acquired on the German art market before 2000.
