TWO ROMAN BRONZE RING BEZELS WITH INTAGLIOS
Circa 2nd-3rd century AD.
Top parts of two small rings with oval intaglios. The carnelian intaglio depicts a stylised human head, the (loose) glass intaglio shows a draped female (?) bust with a branch (?) in front.
Total length 21 mm, and 15 mm (incl. ring) Ex European private collection, acquired on the German art market in the late 1990s.
