A LATE ROMAN BRONZE CROSSBOW BROOCH
Circa 4th century AD.
With arched bow and onion-shaped terminals ('Zwiebelknöpfe'). The top of the bow, the foot, and the knobs are decorated with separately attached beaded wire, the foot and the crossbar feature a carved design. Hinged, pin probably reattached.
