ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM Laureate head of Caracalla right. / P M TR P XVIIII COS IIII P P Sol standing front, radiate and naked except for cloak over left shoulder, head left, raising his right hand and holding globe in his left hand. RIC 281b Excellent portrait. Struck from a somewhat worn reverse die. Extremely fine with some luster.
