A PAIR OF GREEK SILVER OMEGA EARRINGS
Circa late 6th-5th century BC.
Matching pair of earrings, taking their name from a similarity to the Greek letter omega. The plain metal rod expands into an open hoop; the ends are turned upwards and terminate in pyramidal knobs with incised decoration.
