A ROMAN BRONZE TORSO OF APOLLO Circa 1st-3rd century AD. Small bronze statuette, originally depicting the god standing in contrapposto with the weight on his right leg, his arms held out, and the head turned to his proper left. Two long locks falling down on the shoulders. Across the right side of his chest is the strap that holds a quiver full of arrows on his back. Head, lower arms, and lower legs now missing. H 36 mm
