A ROMAN BRONZE STATUETTE OF JUPITER Circa 2nd-3rd century AD. Jupiter, the supreme god of the Roman pantheon, is depicted nude, with long beard and curly hair. He probably held a thunderbolt or patera in his lowered right hand and a sceptre in his raised left. Both lower arms and right foot not preserved. Some damage to the patina, especially on the legs.
