ITALY. Sicilia (Regno). Ruggero II, 1130-1154. Tarì (Gold, 14.5 mm, 1.45 g, 4 h), Palermo, 1140-1154. "al-malik Rujjar al-mu’tazz bi-llah" around pellet in circle. Rev. Kufic legend stating mint and date. Cross-tipped scepter with IC XC NIKA around field. Friedberg 877. Spahr 63. Nicely toned, clear example. Good very fine.
