PHRYGIA. Laodicea ad Lycum. Nero, 54-68. (Bronze, 19 mm, 6.24 g, 6 h), struck under magistrate Kor. Aineias. ΝΕΡΩΝ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΣ Laureate head of Nero to right. Rev. ΚΟΡ ΑΙΝΕΙΑΣ ΛΑΟ-ΔΙΚΕΩΝ Zeus Laodiceus standing to left, holding eagle in his extended right hand and staff with his left. BMC 173. RPC 2926. SNG Copenhagen 563. A clear example. Good very fine.
